Benjamin Harris

Benjamin Harris, a cherished member of the Easton community, passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on February 28, 1963, in Easton, PA, Benjamin was known for his infectious spirit and remarkable kindness that touched the lives of many.

He was the son of the late Benjamin Harris and the late Mae Artha Harris. Benjamin is survived by two loving sisters, Deborah Harris and Yvette Harris. He also shared a deep bond with his significant other, Theresa Millhouse, and proudly raised her daughter, Alicia Ortiz.

Throughout his life, Benjamin demonstrated a  dedication to his family and community. He was the  father of his late son, Isaiah. He was known for his warm heart and willingness to lend a helping hand, making him a friend to many.

Benjamin's early years were marked by a passion for sports, excelling in basketball and football during his childhood, and earning trophies for his achievements. His work history saw him engaging in construction as a laborer, showcasing his strong work ethic until he faced challenges that led to his disability.

An avid lover of music, and sports, Benjamin proudly supported the Philadelphia Eagles and took immense pride in his appearance, often dressing to impress with stylish attire and sneakers to match. He also took great care of his beard!  He loved R&B music, especially  Earth, Wind & Fire.

Friends are invited to pay their respects at the Viewing on May 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union AME Church, located at 144 E Nesquehoning St, Easton, PA 18042. A Funeral Service will immediately follow, with burial taking place at the Historic Easton Cemetery.

Benjamin Harris leaves behind a lasting impact on all who knew him, remembered for his kindness and the joy he brought into their lives. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of family and friends.
